Public Works crews begin four weeks of loose leaf collection across all neighbourhoods on October 20, following the zone schedule posted on the city website. Residents are asked to keep leaves out of bike lanes, sidewalks, and storm drains.
Council has awarded a $412,000 contract to Signet Traffic Systems Ltd. to install a full traffic signal at the intersection, which recorded 11 collisions over the past three years. Installation is expected to be complete by March 2027.
